We are pleased to inform you that we are organizing a field visit to two agritourism farms in the surroundings of Florence on Friday, April 24, 2026.
Transportation by bus will be provided. During the visit, you will have the opportunity to meet the farm owners, who will present their activities and share their experiences.
Lunch is not included. There may be the possibility to have a light lunch at the farms, but you are also welcome to bring your own food. Further details will be provided soon. We will depart in the morning and return to Florence in the afternoon; the exact schedule will be communicated at a later stage.
Please note that places are limited. In the case of a high number of applications, priority will be given based on the following criteria:
- order of registration (first come, first served)
- relevance of the activity to the student’s study plan (e.g., usefulness for the thesis, consistency with the study plan)
- number of exams already completed
- motivation

Registration will close on April 8th. If places are still available after the deadline, a second call will be opened.
Please note that, although the visit is related to the topics of the DSTS Master’s Program, it is an extracurricular activity and no academic credits will be awarded.
As this activity involves costs for the Master’s Program, only genuinely interested students should apply. In case of absence, participants may be required to reimburse the cost of transportation.
