Module (B B019139) "Culture, creativity and local development": Analysis of cultural clusters and districts (museums, art restoration, music etc.) in cities of art, according to the multidisciplinary PACA methodology. Study of the relations between cultural heritage and creative industries (performing arts, design, fashion etc.) and creative capital (artists, scientists, etc.). Analysis of the relationship between creativity and innovation.

Learning Objectives
Advanced course of competitive analysis, aiming to integrate and develop multidisciplinary through theoretical and empirical analysis. The multiplicity of theoretical perspectives and methods presented aims to improve the critical capabilities of the student, also through applications of concepts to case studies.

Attending students: written test and project work. Not attending students: oral examination.
Course program
The module will propose an analysis of cultural clusters and districts (museums, art restoration and music) according to the multidisciplinary PACA method, which investigates the processes of districtualization in cultural cities. The module will include a study of the relations between cultural heritage, creative industries (performing arts, design etc.) and innovation. Mapping techniques and case studies of local creative systems and culture-driven innovations at a European level will be the object of specific focus.
