The Sismondi Laboratory of Rural Studies announces the fourth edition of the "Diego Pinducciu and Antonella Ara" Prize. The Prize intends to remember the research activities in the field of valorisation and protection of agricultural resources and  rural territory, as well as the civil commitment of Diego Pinducciu and Antonella Ara, friends, colleagues, and founding members of the Sismondi Laboratory, who died prematurely.

The competition offers two prizes for the best master's or degree theses concerning the enhancement of the rural territory, through the development of one or more of the following topics:
- city-countryside relationship
- food safety
- innovation (social, technological, agronomic, etc.)
- strengthening the role of female entrepreneurship
- development of social capital
- protection and reproducibility of natural resources

Deadline: September 30, 2020.
